"You see something you like?"

No, that's not a line of questioning from a seedy B-movie (okay, maybe it is). But it does speak to feature of the site. :)

You can now recommend ThePHINS.com articles and posts with the new Facebook 'Like' function!

You'll see the 'Like' button beneath every post on the forum and article on the homepage.

Rest assured, only you and your Facebook friends can see if you've 'Liked' an article or post. Your names remain invisible to anyone who isn't a part of your Facebook network.

Your 'Liked' content will show up 'Recent Activity' on your Facebook profile.

I thought my browser was crashing.

This is not good for my addiction.

They're taking over the world.

Seriously, they're doing things nobody else is. They're a threat even to Google.

Muck,
What happens to a "Club" post that requires login? Does it redirect to the mains?

They would get an "access denied" message.

Guess they're looking to out-whore Twitter.

It's bigger and far more lucrative than that.

i agree. we can now thank someone, and "like" their post. I wouldn't mind seeing a "roundhouse kick to the face" button. i sure could use a few good kicks to the face sometimes. plus, its the interweb. it doesnt even hurt.

Feature has been temporarily disabled on the forums while we investigate some technical issues.

I am beginning to wonder if I am the last person left on the planet who isn't on facebook. I come on here instead and use this as my social networking site. If folks aren't Dolphin fans why would I talk to them? Any other Luddites out there?

I remember when Facebook was just a college networking site. Then it opened to high school, and then to everyone. Now there are entire families on Facebook. They really are a force to be reckoned with. Zuckerberg is a rich mofo.

It did something Myspace did but WAY better.

Not sure about the "Luddites" part, but I'm with you on everything else you said. And, no...you aren't the last person left on the planet who isn't on Facebook, because that would be me.
