They are both very nice. I think the black one looks better though.

Helluva good start!
3 suggestions if a I may:
1. Angle out the tiger heads a bit. (So the point on their chin, lines up with edge of the shield.)
2. Add a little more filigree (the curvy stuff) at the top so it covers the top edge of the shield.
3. Try to use a different paw. Those look like happy little dog paws. They need some claws, to help add to the intimidation factor.
